wedding wonderland :)

time certainly flies doesn't it? what is that about anyway? when i was 5 years old i wanted to be my mom's age... and now that i am almost 26... i'm wondering where all the time went. i feel like recently that has been the beginning of all of my blogs- time. but... every day i wonder how i got here. its amazing isn't it?

reviewing all of my blog entries i realized that i haven't written the most important blog entry! :) MY WEDDING! the day i became Mrs. Catherine Potter Rahm. :) After 6 years together (with a short break in between) Jeremy and I exchanged our vows in front of friends and family at The Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, NC at 2 p.m. :)

The day was perfect! It just so happened to be a record breaking day for tornadoes in NC ...but to me, it was perfect. God helped me out with the weather- it held off until that night... and everything ...was flawless. sure, there were a few mess ups here and there... but over all - i couldn't have asked for a MORE perfect day :)

so i think i'll point out some of the highlights in pictures :)

First of all I'd like to say what I pleasure it is to be here for the nuptials of two great people.
What makes it even more special for me is witnessing Jeremy marry a Duke fan.
At least one of them has the right idea.
When I think back, to the days when Jeremy, Dennis and I used to hang out,
and Dennis would tell tales from back in the USSR,
and we all steamed ahead through school waiting for The End of all the Helter Skelter drama of teenage life.
We got by with a little helps from our friends, and made some new ones along the way.
In Jeremy's case, he found Catherine.
His perfect match Across the Universe. It was clear to both early on that what they had was Something special.
And I'm so happy to be here to witness as the two of them begin down The Long and Winding Road of life.
And i know that as the two of you grow old together,
with each day you will show that All You Need is Love,
and that the two of you will be in love just as much when you're sixty four as you are today.
Now looking at the two of you, knowing neither one of you can Imagine a day in the life without the other.
I wish you both a happy, healthy and rewarding
marriage and I will pray everyday that Catherine raises your kids to be Duke fans.

hearts. lots and lots of hearts.

love to all and happy blogging/cat.
